This is a gorgeous apartment with spacious air conditioned bedrooms, a studio workspace, two terraces with beautiful views, hardwood floors and tasteful art decoration. Everything you might be interested in can be found in walking distance: restaurants, bars, art galleries, parks, movie theaters, organic produce markets, yoga studios and hip shops. Suitable both for families as well as for those looking for nightlife. Please keep in mind it's on a fourth floor with no elevator.

Good to know

Bedrooms are on the apartment's 2nd floor, both of them set with black out curtains and AC. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a bathroom with both shower and tub and a large closet. The second bedroom has two dressers and two single beds which can be joined together to turn it into a split king size bed. The bathroom for the 2nd bedroom is across the hallway from it, and has a toilet, sink and shower, asa well as a lovely skylight for natural lighting. On the second level there's also a third room set up with two Herman Miller Mirra chairs and a desk in case you'd like to get some work done. On the first level there's a full kitchen equipped with large fridge, a dishwasher and a kitchen island. Next to it you'll find a four person dining table, a large balcony with its own set of table and chairs in case you'd like to have dinner al fresco. There's also a living room area with a library, comfortable sofas, and a projector with a pull down screen for an outstanding movie watching experience. Lastly, on the third floor there's a large terrace with terrific views.

Other Details to Note

The apartment has very high ceilings, and full of sun through most of the day. One of the terraces is surrounded by greenery with a table and a patio chair. From the main bedroom you can watch beautiful sunrises and moonrises. Five people can sleep very comfortably here. Housekeeping or laundry service is available upon request for a 50 dollar fee. I used to manage this apartment as a co-host, but we're currently switching the account to myself as owner. House Rules

SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, but both the balcony have been set up for this purpose of the terraces should you want to have a smoke. CLOSED SLIDING DOORS: please keep doors and windows closed if you’re not in the apartment or if it’s raining, particularly the large ones that leads to the balcony. Rainfall will cause significant damages to the wood flooring if left unattended and rainstorms that come out of nowhere are year long occurence in CDMX. HOSTING GUESTS OF YOUR OWN: We realize that this apartment is a dream for parties: it's huge, with big open spaces, and located in a neighborhoods with a busy nightlife, but we kindly ask you to refrain from hosting guests of your own. Airbnb has banned parties for apartment and condo listings, with penalties for both hosts and guests. We strive to comply as best we can with the platform’s rules and regulations, and we believe that in this particular instance these changes also align with safety and noise concerns from our immediate neighbors. As such, we kindly ask you not to host guests of your own beyond those listed in your initial reservation and to be mindful of creating noise after 11PM. Bringing total occupancy above four people without written agreement from your host will imply a 100 USD surcharge per guest per night independently of whether they sleep over, and will be grounds for immediate termination of your stay without any refund on the remaining nights of your reservation. PETS: Pets are not allowed inside the apartment. CHILDREN: The apartment is not baby proofed and both the staircase and terraces pose significant risks for children. As such it is meant for adults only. KEEP PLUGGED IN WIFI DECO DEVICES: to ensure proper internet access, please keep the Deco wifi mesh extenders plugged in. AIR CONDITIONING: if you're not in the apartment, we would be very grateful if you could turn off the air conditioning. This heps us keep our power bill manageable, and it's also better for the environment. CAMERAS: There are no audio or video recording devices inside the apartment, but the apartment is set up with detectors that measure smoke, carbon monoxide, mold and noise level. The main gate for the building does have a street facing camera, as does the apartment's entrance door. Disabling or attempting to obstruct either one of these cameras will constitute grounds for terminating your reservation.

Neighborhood

The Juárez neighborhood is one of the city's oldest neighborghoods, with a long history that can be seen in a lot of turn of the century architecture linning its streets. It's also a very large neighborhood, encompassing attractions for a very diverse interests, from nightlife partygoers to art enthusiasts to hipster foodies, you'll be sure to find something that caters to you. Condesa and Roma neighborhoods are also a stone's throw away from the apartment in case you want to visit them.

Guest Access

The apartment is set up for self check in and the building has doormen posted 24/7. Entry to both the building and the apartment is done with door codes that you'll receive a few days before your visit. Please keep in mind that this is a four story walkup with no elevator.

Find us

Juárez is centrally located so there's a lot that can be done on foot, from exploring downtown to walking over Roma and Condesa. The apartment is situated two blocks north of Chapultepec Avenue, three blocks south of Reforma Avenue, and four blocks east of Insurgentes Avenue, which are some of the busiest streets in the city and excellent for getting around. It's also four blocks away from metro Cuauhtemoc subway station, and very close to the Metrobus lines on Cuauhtemoc Avenue and on Insurgentes Avenue.
